As promised, here is the doubled up SOTW, 57 & 58.

This is also the last post until I decide otherwise. At the moment, it feels as if all inspiration has packed its bags and told me to kiss its ass on the way out.

    That Little Village track always chokes me up. For today, I'll think of it as "Don't Read This Post While You Drive" ... hope you're inspired to return sooner than later. In the meantime, thanks for making our days more interesting.

    I know I speak for many when I say how much I appreciate all that you do for us. My record collection is much richer for your fine guidance.

    And it must be exhausting and perhaps threatening to have to "perform" for us all the time.

    Please never let Burning Wood be a burden. If and when you recharge and want to share we'll be here.

    I don't comment very often, but am a frequent vistor who really values your wit and erudition. (And I, too, spent many years in the Record Store beanfields, so a music blog that really impresses me is really saying something.)     Mark me down as another regular visitor who rarely comments but who appreciates BW very much. Until I see a post that says "Boarded Up" I'll keep checking back.

    Just wanted to say "A Whole Lot Better" is one of those amazing songs that actually has multiple hooks in it -- and each hook actually works. An expertly crafted song by any stretch.
