    I was just coming here to share the news if you hadn't seen it. FUCK!

    Karl's music has meant so much to me, first with the Waterboys and then World Party. "Put The Message In The Box" has been such an inspiration for me, like a north star.

    Gutted.

    Loved World Party. Talented guy, and by today’s standards, 66 is too soon.i second the love of Put The Message In The Box. And the whole of Goodbye Jumbo. RIP Karl.

    So sad. He was one of the best - both in his prime and when he came back and played after his illness. Beautiful songs, beautiful voice.
