THIS JUST IN...

In case you missed it, Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been stealing the headlines with "diss tracks" about each other, with Lamar's most recent "song" claiming that Drake has a secret child and has sex with underage girls. In related news, Joe Grushecky and John Cafferty have also released "diss tracks," with Cafferty saying it was he who was headlining the Misquamicut Beach Fest next week not Grushecky, and Grushecky responding with the track, "Yeah, But I Know Bruce Springsteen."

  5. Spend a little while here and you'll get to know the author's style & taste!

I generally enjoy diss tracks. They are a modern continuation of the "answer record". Rivalries between lyricists tend to inspire clever humor and verbal oneupsmanship. But there's little joy in this beef between Kendrick and Drake.
