Oh Urania (Take Me Away)- Andrew Gold
Just Walkin' In The Rain- The Prisonaires
If You Think You're Lonely Now- Bobby Womack
Driver's Seat- Sniff 'N' The Tears
Here Comes Bob- Sparks
No Place Like Home- Squeeze
It's My Own Business- Dave Edmunds
A few quick notes:
Andrew Gold's four Elektra records are solid, but I think you could make one unforgettable classic with 3 or 4 songs from each. "Oh Urania" would be on it, which always reminded me of a great Eric Stewart/10cc track
When I saw Corey Glover a few weeks ago, he did a fine cover of this Bobby Womack tune.
"A Woofer In Tweeter's Clothing" never grew on me the way so many other Sparks albums did, but I love this track.
I'm pretty sure I hadn't heard "Driver's Seat" since 1979, when WNEW-FM were under contract to play it 18 times a day. Sounds pretty good after laying off of it for 45 years.
Enjoy the zip.

I'd forgotten what a cool song "Driver's Seat" is -- thanks!!!
The world may be nuts (that's charitable), but we can always count on a great SOTW mix by you Sal, as sure as the sunrise - thank you!
A rare perfect "Songs of the Week" where I either already have the song or added it to my library. Good one,
Ohio's Joe Walsh covering fellow Ohioan Michael Stanley's Rosewood Bitters, from Stanley's debut. Fun.
Always loved Drivers Seat. Still have my original 45, plus it's been on assorted mix CDs, IPod playlists, and now Spotify playlists. Just a cool little tune. Good call.
