The sound, which I didn't know was phasing at the time, just blew me away and remains my favorite Yardbirds recording.cmealhahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03201121023050701074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357001616333664522.post-77400525855916208292019-02-10T05:23:25.239-08:002019-02-10T05:23:25.239-08:00I agree w/ Daudder; have always liked The Charlata...I agree w/ Daudder; have always liked The Charlatans. kevin mnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357001616333664522.post-77536998146609327372019-02-09T20:22:05.116-08:002019-02-09T20:22:05.116-08:00Couldn't get enough of Bowie's Man Who Sol...Couldn't get enough of Bowie's Man Who Sold the World album when I first got it home & that track is still a killer with Ronson's guitar tearing the speakers to shreds. Nice to hear The Charlatans in the zip, a tasty reminder of the classic "Madchester" scene along with the Carpets, Roses & Mondays. Plus 10cc, Jimmy Page, great stuff! They never made a bad album, and offer up the most essential, cohesive use of the organ since The Band. Never made a bad album, IMO ( see/hear: Feel Flows, the track just after your selection "Cant get out of bed".

daudderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07497783262223221057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357001616333664522.post-13912350336624655372019-02-09T07:17:30.963-08:002019-02-09T07:17:30.963-08:00The concert setlist idea of non-performed songs so...The concert setlist idea of non-performed songs sounds great - let's do it!

Great Yardbirds track - one of my faves.

I need to listen to some 10cc - thanks for the primer.

Great SOTW - thanks!

RandyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
