When I found NYCD, I immediately recognized the handwriting on the in store signage.<br /><br />I hope I never said or say anything like that about a gift someone thought to get me. It doesn't fit within the boundaries of "The Golden Rule". The only one I can think of I try not to break.<br /><br />Even though I hate sports, in general, I'd have recognized the coolness factor, and said something to that effect.<br /><br />In the early days of Cheap Trick, Bun E. Carlos used a giant pair of music store display drumsticks as part of their finale.
