But it's Woody's run from Manhattan in 1979 throughout the Eighties to Crimes & Misdemeanors in 1989 that are his greatest period and Radio Days is right in there as a delightful movie. <br /><br />Manhattan<br />Stardust Memories<br />A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy (ehh)<br />Zelig (brilliant)<br />Broadway Danny Rose (also underrated)<br />The Purple Rose Of Cairo (perfect)<br />Hannah and Her Sisters (his warmest)<br />Radio Days (delightful)<br />September (a misfire)<br />Another Woman (not great, but not awful)<br />Crimes & misdemeanors (great)<br /><br />plus the caustic Husbands & Wives in 1992.
