I consulted my hard drive and found I have their 2009 album "Carbeth". What I remember about the hype was that her voice compared favorably to Sandy Denny's. Digging further into memory, I recall thinking the sound was fine, but the songs lacking. I just listened to the tracks you posted, and the opener from 2009, and maybe you're right.
