I wanted "Life Line" to be today's "Song Of the Day," and stumbled across this version.

There was no one like Harry Nilsson.

    I second that. Great Harry documentary, "Who Is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everyone Talkin' About Him)" for those that haven't seen it.

    Harry was amazing...diversions into indulgence included. Schmilsson and Son of Schmilsson, Pussycats are three excellent albums. "Something True", from "Sandman" and "Just one Look/Baby I'm Yours" from "That's the way it is" is a cover worthy of the material. what a voice.

    He had such a special voice. You can also see why John Lennon was such a fan (and friend).

    Great SOTD and a nice coda for me as just this morning re-reading Michael Palin's first volume of his diaries (The Python Years) and got to the entry on Nilsson before had to leave for work.

    I've loved Harry's music since my teenage years and I just never seem to grow tired of hearing his music. This was a nice start to my day!
