M_Sharp, I had a discussion with a close friend, another very open-minded music lover. Not a "get off my lawn type" at all. We both agreed, even after hearing Taylor's songs, we still couldn't identify one. It's all mediocre pop. I wouldn't mind people who didn't mind Taylor. Hell, I don't mind Taylor. But people who should know better going head over heels, and then not caring about (insert 50-100 artists), well, that's just cuh-RAY-zee!
Sal- Almost all of her music that I've heard has been snippets, usually during a news story about her, maybe a few lines. Nothing caught my ear enough to make me investigate any further. I actually did hear one full song on the radio a little while ago, I think she was in town. It was decent pop music but nothing special. I've probably seen so many gossip stories about her & her exes (which I didn't read) that I lost any interest in checking out her music.
