The saddest thing to happen in my neighborhood this year was that the wonderful Forest Hills Sam Ash Music store -- a few blocks from my house, and a place where I've at least one guitar and countless accessories since we moved there -- went out of business (along with the rest of the stores in the chain) at the end of the summer. A few weeks ago, one of those Halloween Spirit places popped up in its place. Needless to say, I have mixed emotions about this
my local, Sound Exchange, says they get one of these guys at least once a week.
