  1. The No Kings protest here (Ann Arbor) was -- as you might expect -- well turned out. I only hope this enthusiasm really carries over 500+ days from now (which seems like a goddamn eternity now...)

  7. There was so much— did he include the jumbo jet "gift" from Qatar? The ongoing cryptocurrency schemes? There just so much to choose from.
(And a bit of the spirit of George Carlin in that clip.)

  8. great clip. we've had massive protest turnouts here in tucson. Bernie and AOC hoped to get 4000. They got 24K. Our GOP congressman voted to kill Medicaid despite 24 % of his consitutents being on it. Then for good measure helped kill all these burgeoning new alternative energy investments, despite many of the companies being her in AZ. I've got a better chance of touring with the Who as their new drummer than he does of being re-elected. I'm not happy about any of this, but it will ensure, I believe, a massive GOP defeat in the midterms. Oh, and not to mention taking Sesame Street away from millions of kids.

  9. I attended the Detroit "No Kings" protest. Nice turnout. On Monday, on Fox, Hannity included a clip of Rashida Tlaib from it, not a shot of the crowd, and said "take a look at the Left's pathetic so-called protest" before suggesting the real story was Trump's awe-inspiring Birthday Parade. He failed to show the less than awe-inspiring crowd.
