Why, I didn't know that little-known -- or perhaps, unknown -- fact about Elvis!
But I know that the (American) Beat's debut is one of the best debut albums ever!

But way back when Elvis was gigging, there were no cell phones !
I agree about the first Beat LP, also check out a Nerves comp and the Breakaways single on Bomp not to mention the first Jack Lee LP and the first two Plimsouls LP's. All great.

I really thought this was hilarious. Bizarre, twisted and hilarious. But that's me.

Hell, J, let's not stop there! Get the Breakaways' album 'Walking Out On Love (The Lost Sessions)' while yer at it! Paul Collins is still going, I b'lieve, and I'd say 2010's 'King of Power Pop' was a strong return to form.

Here's the thing. I didn't realize it was a vid til I read your comment here -- my above comment was just based on the static image and text (I don't do social media so am not familiar that some move and some are stills). Your comment made me think I missed something beyond what I thought was an amusing statement, and then a relook made me realize I could click the image to make it a vid. D'oh! Def better with the sound and vision!
