The 60s cut a groove in my head. I hear Hollies with more drums. Nice tune thanks.

Robin sounds like George Harrison and Jeff Lynne on this song.

That's an eclectic trio of songwriters. Souther had a few really great lps later in his career, that were somewhat reminiscent of Scott Walker's work.

Great tune from a very good album. This sound like it was produced by Jeff Lynne even though Irvine did it. Are we sure Jeff wasn't around?

An awesome song. I remember looking at the liner notes and was shocked that Jeff Lynne had no involvement. My guess is Mike Campbell took some notes in the studio with Tom Petty.

What a great song! New to me. Is the entire lp this good?

I’ve been saying for years, it’s a lost classic. Love almost every song.

Excellent! How did that slip by??

I think the record slipped by everyone. I’m pretty sure the label Interscope went belly up so zero promotion. It’s a really great record.

The album isn't streaming, at least here in the UK. The only Robin Zander song on Spotify here is a cover of 'Jet' which he predictably sings the hell out of

Looks like the Zander isn't streaming anywhere.
Cut and paste this link. It's the album plus Zander's excellent unreleased second album.
