Beatles Week: Part Three

When the song first came out, I thought it was a swing and a miss. It felt clumsy. Over the years, I've changed my tune. It was easier for me to mock what was wrong with it back then and even easier for me now to hear all that's right with it.

This version is pretty great.

  2. I never hated Wonderful Christmastime, but have grown to love it more and more each holiday season. I'll never understand the anger it inspires.

  7. That was a fun skit. I don't feel anger at the song, but John def won that round when it comes to great Christmas songs. Paul should have another go at it.

  8. P.S. It would be greatly improved by being cut in half. And that choir of kids really need to work on their rocking to the tune. But Paul's a charmer. And I've warmed up to it a bit, including a good cover by The Shins.
