Wake up! That’s one swinging rhythm section.

Tasty tune from Lee Morgan and his great band. Pepper Adams on baritone sax is wonderful. If you haven’t seen it, the documentary “I Called Him Morgan” is well worth the time. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4170344/

Excellent. The Complete Live at the Lighthouse is one of the hottest live sets in all of jazz. Morgan was great.

"Cooker" indeed. Thanks for posting that! I have Sidewinder and Cornbread, and think I need to pick up some more Lee Morgan.

Just seeing any Blue Note album cover makes me want to listen whatever record it is.

That band is so damn incredible. Bobby Timmons was a very underrated artist.

I went to a jazz club in Atlanta last night - rather, a club with a DJ playing jazz vinyl - and he played some Lee Morgan. Sounded great!
