BW's Saturday #75

  1. Love those first two Paul Collins’ Beat albums (and The Plimsouls’ first two as well). Thanks for your ‘S.O.T.D.’, sir.
Prior to BW, I’d never heard any Danny Kirwan-era Fleetwood Mac. Thanks for that as well. :)

    1. In the same canon, you may also want to listen to a Nerves compilation not to mention the first Jack Lee LP ironically called Greatest Hits Vol.1.

    2. Thanks. It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to either. Appreciate the reminder. :)

  2. The flipside of the Albatross 45, Peter Green on one side, Danny Kirwan on t'other, those were the days. Cheers!

  3. Seconding all the above -- Pete Green era Mac absolutely rules, and Paul Collins Beat (I like the stuff past the first two, also, and much of his solo stuff) & Nerves (and don't forget the Breakaways!) always get me going. Saints Peter and Paul, indeed!

  4. I really did lose interest in the Mac after Greenie left, their subsequent work(s) had much to recommend it/them, but I mean: Really!!
