  1. I suspect that young man may have a bright future in the filed of popular music. 😎

  2. ICE will want his files.

That's the second protest/topical song I've heard about the shooting in the last 12 hours. I think finally the people might be rising up. If an event is song/written about it is surely on a lot of peoples' minds.

  3. I always thought The Clash wrote Revolution Rock. It just sounded like them. Great original.

  4. There's a need to make songs like this go viral somehow.

  5. Johnny Cougar and Dave Edmunds had a baby, and he sings a righteous song. Maybe Allan Rosenberg (previous comment) is right, and this will be a George Floyd moment, albeit not with the immediate and grand scale, since folks aren't just leery of cops, but of the whole government under TrumpleThinSkin.

  6. Great song! Despicable behavior from Trump, Vance, and the rest, but I'm not surprised to see it. I'm slightly optimistic that people will finally understand what's going on with these thugs.
On the lighter side- here's a great video:

  7. There’s something about this guy I don’t dig or trust. He’s been touted as this new Dylan. Puh-leeze. He’s a folky Mark Russell at best.

    1. What's not to trust about this particular clip?

    2. I've seen other of his vids, so, yes, he's gotten attention. But I don't get dismissing someone because OTHERS hang a name on them, and you're not seeing it. John Prine, Springsteen, Donovan....none of those guys were "the new Dylan", but it didn't stop me from enjoying them in their own right. Is a folky Mark Russell something you'd not dig or trust?
