"Pay It Back: The Original Costello Covers: : THE WEEKEND MIX(ES)



I originally posted this back 2012 but the files have long been dead. I decided to resurrect and restore because you deserve it.

This is one helluva collection, if I do say so myself. This two-parter gathers the original versions of a surplus of songs covered by Mr. McManus over the years. You will get the original versions of everything found on both "Almost Blue" and "Kojak Variety," as well as a plethora of EC bonus tracks and b-sides all by the original artists.

What else can I say? 

Dig in.

    Wonder what could be added since your original compilation. I remember hearing his version of Brilliant Disguise, but that predates 2012

      I posted in 2012, but I think the compilation had been around much longer. It's entirely possible "Brilliant Disguise" wasn't recorded yet.

    Zip files are not unzipping by trying a few of my Mac utilities. Normally double-clicking works.

      David. The two links aren't zip files. They take you the WeTransfer page where you can download. Just double checked and all is working.
