So...my friend Ron Levy who had been BB's keyboard player. He had joined up with Luther and they were playing a local gig. Before their performance they came to my house for a homemade meal.

This is a fascinating era of great music between Goldband and J D Miller recordings which have a more bluesy feel but a rich vein of american music for both. Are there any books, articles or documentaries about this time in southern music? There are several very good books about New Orleans' music.
