Love this song, and love seeing the words printed out, even though it's near impossible to read them without singing the melody in my head. ricknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357001616333664522.post-73376186402515022392020-02-25T04:21:37.534-08:002020-02-25T04:21:37.534-08:00Slowdown Sundown is a great song too.Slowdown Sundown is a great song too.Anything Should Happenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05593722184088140203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4357001616333664522.post-36462901396796731632020-02-24T18:13:04.674-08:002020-02-24T18:13:04.674-08:00Yeah!! ...Yeah!! This really takes me back to simpler days.<br /><br />I remember in college in the 80s, I had a big paper to do, was working part time, etc, lots going on. And money was scarce. So I promised myself, if I kicked ass on that paper and got an A, my reward would be to buy "Arc Of A Diver."<br /><br />I did, and I did. Hearing the title song in particular takes me back to those wide-open days. Ah, poor old Vivian Stanshall: long gone but never forgotten. Thanks for the prompt to dig out Arc of A Diver as well as some delightfully silly Bonzo's stuff. Arc of a Diver, Talking Back to the Night, and Back in the High Life were all very enjoyable. I agree with the praise for the lyrics on Arc of a Diver, just amazing. I've been listening to my vinyl copy of Talking Back to the Night lately and trying to find a replacement copy of the CD, as none of our local secondhand shops ever seem to have a copy in stock. Great stuff.Troyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04863565099476649907noreply@blogger.com
