Where Are We Going?

I hadn't anything prepared for today. Then I put on Marvin Gaye's "You're The Man," just because I felt like hearing it. It's a solid record for mostly vault material. But the song "Where Are We Going" is truly a gem. I had first heard it as a bonus track on the deluxe CD edition of "What's Going On" about 25 years ago. It killed me then and it just killed me now. So here it is.

Oh Yeah! The Style Council wished they were half this groove and vibe on "Stoned Out Of My Mind", which I love.

Never heard this before. He makes it sound so easy. What a groove. And sometime back someone mentioned Danny Wilkerson. What a great pop album. Geez it came out 6, 7 years ago and I remembered it being mentioned but had fallen off the radar. Thanks for the mention.

Must be something in the air, 'cause I just downloaded a 1973 alternate mix of this, like, two weeks ago. Gorgeous!
