"POP POWER" : The Weekend Mix

I can do New Orleans pretty well, but no one does power pop like my buddy Steve Simels and the guys over at Power Pop. So, after you're done here, go check it out HERE.

This weekend's mix is for them, as much as it is for you.

Remember, buy some CDs once in awhile so these incredible artists don't get pissed off at me for sharing their music. The last I checked almost all of these brilliant records are available on Amazon.com for $5 or less.

Thanks for the mix! I am here at the insistence of my musical mentor, that Simels guy. Great blog you have, I can't wait to check out the archives.

Thanks Sal. And hey lots of great music & fine writing here at Burning Wood -- and those right there are 2 of my 3 favorite things. (Hat tip to Simels for the link.)

I used to greatly look forward to your stuff over at Altercation and didn't know about your blog until Mr. Simels passed along the link over at PowerPop. Thanks for the mix!
