WANTED

Please indulge me. I don't do this often. Hardly ever, I think. But I thought, why not?

I am looking for some vinyl. Original U.S. pressings. Nice, playable condition. Nothing mint or sealed, though I wouldn't turn anything mint or sealed away. Reasonably to incredibly low priced is a good thing.

John Cale-Paris 1919
John Cale-Fear
John Cale-Slow Dazzle
Television- Marquee Moon
Iggy Pop- The Idiot
King Crimson- Lizard
Patti Smith- Radio Ethiopia
David Bowie- Hunky Dory
Yes- Close To The Edge
XTC- Skylarking
The Jam- In The City
The Clash- London Calling
Genesis- A Trick Of The Tail
Sly & The Family Stone- Stand (MONO)
Rolling Stones- Between The Buttons (MONO)
Lee Dorsey- Yes We Can
Frank Zappa-One Size Fits All
Frank Zappa- Overnight Sensation
The Impressions- This Is My Country

Thank you.

And now, I will get to work on tomorrow's mix.

Wish you'd posted this 6 years ago when I had a quarter of these on vinyl. I'll be down to see Lori's brother Bob next week. Maybe he has some of it.

I have Skylarking. Pre-Dear God. (I bought it the day it came out)

You giving it up, Chris?

To go along with what Aaron said. Sold all my vinyl that I was keeping in storage for $200 a month like 7-8 years ago. I probably had most or all of those albums mentioned.

If you don't mind me asking, why the sudden vinyl crave? I mean, don't you have all that stuff on CD.

Hi Sal. Loving the Todd Mondays. Any chance of posting the Lewis Beefheart stuff that i inquired about over on ASH please? Sorry not able to help with the vinyl.

Rob,

Are you not getting my responses? I posted an answer in the last blog post. Go to ASH, search for Burning Wood. Don gave me a plug. I out the link for LT in the comments section. Enjoy.

And FD,

Just enjoying the sound again. Listened to mono copies of the first Traffic album and Aretha's "I Never Loved A Man," and they knocked me out.

Hey Sal, you could maybe bring your list to Bob at the House Of Oldies (just kidding) The old crank is still sitting on a gazillion albums, likely has them all, but he'd probably charge you an arm and a foot.

Yes got it. Cheers Sal. Thanks for Lewis

Sal, Is your email address anywhere on the site? I've a got a copy of "London Calling" in really nice, if used, condition, that I'd be happy to donate to the cause. If you want a loan on a couple of others, that can be arranged, too.

Thanks very much, Dave.

Hey Sal I have Marque Moon, London Calling, Skylarking, Close to the Edge, Overnight Sensation and One Size Fits All.

I'd be happy to lend them for awhile, or trade for something interesting, especially any good live NOLA stuff, mix tapes or mash ups you might have. Doesn't have to be vinyl.

Sal Nunziato said...

Thanks Tim. I'd love to make a trade. I'd want them for keeps. I have tons of NOLA stuff. Think about what you'd like.
