You're good people, you are, so I've got three "Weekend Mixes" lined up, as a small apology for flaking out earlier this week.

The first is a wonderful little show recorded at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica just two weeks ago, featuring the great Dave Alvin & Cindy Cashdollar.

Stay tuned...

Can't vouch for Cindy or her name. But saw Dave at a Guinness Fleah (or whatever it was) in Golden Gate Park one year and he tore it up but good.

Also on the bill were Van Morrison, Elvis Costello and John Prine. It was a good day.

Wow, Steve, that sounded pretty mean.
Love your blog, I head there after Sal, and I'm sure you didn't mean anything bad. For penance, if you post the Shake Shake's You Can Run, all will be forgiven.
Cindy has done a number of instructional videos for Homespun Music, for those so inclined.
Thanks big time for these, Sal. Dave and Buddy are awesome. Wonder if they'll get together?

I saw Dave & the Guilty Women in Madison, WI. Sunday night, they were wonderful. Cindy wailed on lap pedal steel.
