So how many late '70s video cliches can you get into one clip? Let's count 'em: sleeveless Ts, the ice-queen bitch who gets into a limo, the disappearing girl over a lyric about being gone, the fire in a trash can, pointlessly bizarre camera angles, aping a famous movie scene... did I forget anything?
And part 2 reminds me how much I miss the SCTV gang...

I could only watch 47 seconds of the original, but the entire parody. What does this say about me?
You got 27 seconds further than I did.
If my house ever catches on fire, the SCTV DVD box sets are what I'll be grabbing on my way out the door.
SCTv! Rick Moranis on the upside down strat. Could we maybe do just a month of Chilliwack?!?
As Count Floyd would say, "Scaaaary! Ooooh!"
Is it bad that I LIKE the Chilliwack song? Yeah, I thought so--but I do.

Not only is it bad, but it's worse than you think.

I liked it back in the day, but it hasn't aged well, or maybe I've just changed.
Love/lust for Rick Moranis, however, is eternal.

Brilliant. The John Candy hesitation moment is priceless. Now I have to sit here ALL DAY and watch my SCTV DVDs. Thanks Sal!!
