Wilco's Chanukah Gift

If you're a casual fan or higher, please take my word for this and head over to Click on the "roadcase" tab and listen to one of the most inspired shows of Wilco's career. It is a full show from the Civic Opera House in Chicago, recorded on 12/12/11, and it is streaming for free.

A killer set list with amazing sound and just a band on fire.

Here's a zip of the encore, if you need a little push.

Yes Sal , I'm casual or higher....and when I get home, I'm tunin' heads-up....danke....

Excellent stuff -- thanks for the tip Sal.

Once again I'm kicking myself for missing the show when Wilco & Nick Lowe played Toronto this season.

Seize the day and all that!

i still don't get them, like i never got moe or gomez... but that site is sweet, thus i'll give it a whirl

Well I don't get Gomez.

Lots of people seem to "not get" Wilco. They are difficult to pigeonhole and that may be the very reason many don't "get them."

Their catalogue is deep, and if you had to listen to one, please dive into "Summerteeth."

I'm listening right now and it's as you say. Wilco ain't kid stuff, and maybe people who don't "get" them haven't dug below the surface. At least that's what it took me.

Thanks! I don't know that I don't "get" Wilco, I just have never been that interested in them. But I will give this a try and thanks for sharing!

Can you post an mp3 of the rest of the show? Cause that would be awesome.

I don't have MP3s of the whole show. Actually, I was secretly hoping someone would do that for ME.
