Song Of The Day

My old friend and big time Burning Wood supporter cmealha suggested I implement a new feature. I liked the idea, so ladies and germs, I give you....

"SONG OF THE DAY."

As he suggested-

How about a "Song of the Day" feature where you would tell us what song really made your day or rose above everything else you heard that day.

Simple, really.

There will be no archive. It goes up until the next one goes up.

Situated on the right side of the page, a little more than 1/4 of the way down, you'll see the pic. Click on it and it will take you to the song.

I haven't decided if clicking the pic should bring you to YouTube or a download link. What would you prefer? I can't have both.

Love this idea!! This is the way my mind thinks. Hey, even if it's an old song, new song, doesn't matter, there is usually one song we all a) wake up humming or b) gets us rockin' through the day, and it's great to see what your are.

I could go either way on the type of link.

And, that Chuck Berry tune today is rockin' - more lowdown than I'm used to hearing from him.

As my friend Matt said, "This groove is filthy."

It was Chuck's first single after leaving Chess. Killer.

Definitely download link. This is a good idea for BW. This will supplement your regular posts quite nicely. And if I may, from time to time, send you or suggest some songs for the Song Of The Day.

Love this new feature, Sal. I'd never heard this one by Chuck!
