Man, that Fleetwood Mac song (and the album, Then Play On) - those are some of the lost pop gems of all time. I'm a big Mac fan, and most people know them for the Lindsay/Stevie period onwards of course, but that album may even be their best ever.

(Except for Tusk... I'm also a huge Lindsay Buckingham period fan too...)

from duncanmusic@frontiernet.net...I still remember the first time I heard the opening chords of 'Coming My Way' the first track on 'Then Play On' in a record store/head shop in Allentown, PA two weeks after going off to college in the fall of 1969. The speakers in the shop were widely separated and the effect knocked me out. I became a TOTAL Fleetwood Mac fan that day. 'Although the Sun is Shining' was one of the first songs off that LP I learned to play on the guitar (Rattlesnake Shake and 'Show Biz Blues' would also enter mt repertoire later). Everyone should one of the two versions of 'Then Play On' released or at least the maxed-out version that has both sets of tracks.

Great share and great variation. love the Dave Gilmour and Wilco tracks

I am a big Mac fan as well but love the early Peter Green stage.
