How Do I Love Thee...

I'm working on something. A new blog. And I'm gonna need your help. I'm excited. I think it could be huge. Not huge like NASA or Lemmy's mole. But big, as in "Wow, what a great idea." Maybe.

I need another day or three, but I'm putting this out there now. This new blog needs participation. No heavy lifting or unpleasant bending. Just a bit of enthusiasm and a love of music. Think you can handle it? We will see.

Until then, watch the video because this is the shit that makes me happy.

One of Bruce's best.

Yeah, it's happy and doesn't have any characters doing hard time or working the night shift at a Moonachie car wash. But, just look at him. And that band. Everyone should experience that kind of joy when they go to work.

Right on! Looking forward to the new thing - not that there's anything wrong with the current thing. Cheers!

Wow, sounds intriguing. Are you going to run 2 blogs? I would think BW is enough work as it is. Whatever it is, I'm with you all the way. Good luck, can't wait, I'm sure I could handle it.

Hello all...no, please remain seated.

Perfect timing...my agent says I've got a hole in my calendar, so I can definitely participate. Modestly. Within reason. Well, occasionally. It depends.

Come to think of it, I have no agent. And my calendar is always open. Waddya need?

Regards,

I'm with ya, but I'm wondering -- will you be retiring Burning Wood in favor of the new one? Or will you be multi-tasking?

Wherever you wanna go, I'll follow. This blog has turned me on to more incredible music then I can keep up with. Looking forward to seeing where you want to go next.

Burning Wood isn't going anywhere. The new place is #2. (Oh wait...that's not good.) The new place is something else. And participation should...I say...SHOULD be easy.

Damn, anytime you start something with a live Bruce post like that, you KNOW you've got me hooked. Rock on, Brother Sal!

If there's room on board for a grouchy old fart whose appallingly poor taste is only eclipsed by his breathtaking paucity of knowledge then I'm in.
(I always was good at selling myself.)

Sure, I'll follow along as well. It's always interesting to see what you have to say...

Sal, I am but a musical grasshopper on your blog; a disciple just starting up the mountain. I've been turned on to some great music on this site. In fact part of the reason I come here is to get educated. But when you bust out the 70's era Bruce, you're in my wheelhouse. Sherry Darlin' is timesless. When I pour a couple fingers of scotch, pull on my headphones, and start up a Darkness On The Edge of Town bootleg on a summer night,I'm young again. Yeah, I' all in on this one. Thanks.
