Great playlist. I have always loved Nickel and a Nail. Even made the opening notes my ringtone!

Have never Spottified, and don't intend to. However,(generally)love your playlists, usually something I haven't heard before on there to send be scurrying off in investigation.
I await delivery of my RT album. as along time devotee you have my interest piqued.

Hey Sal,

Spotify won't work in Canada so I'm out.

Don't let me stand in the way of progress but if you go the Spotify route I wonder if there is a way to keep those of us who are refused admission (or chose not to sign up) in the loop.

Unfortunately, Spotify leaves your fans who live north of the border out in the cold. Would have loved to hear this though.

Well, this was only a test. Thanks for the feedback. I have been looking for a way for awhile now, to post easy-click playlists without having to upload and posting a zip file. This seems ideal, but of course I see the issues now.

Any suggestions? I'd love to hear them.

the horn arrangement in "Love Is A Hurtin` Thing" kills me every time. I like Spotify, but I have to say, I do most of my listening in the car, so I prefer the Zip file approach.

I, too, listen to most of my music on my iPhone (either walking or in the car), so Spotify is only rarely used when I want to check out an album in full.

But, whatever you do, we'll adapt...

I was among the first to sign up for Spotify, and I'm constantly harassed with email reminders of what my "friends" are listening to. There's something creepy and parasitic about it. It could just be me, though.

Thanks for your response, Sal. Unfortunately, the only two that I've used (box.com and divshare) do require uploading.

I don't know what the holdup is with Spotify in the Canadian market - how much more difficult can it be to negotiate here than in the U.S. and Europe?

Technical challenges notwithstanding I found seven of the ten songs in my library and made a proxy mix.

Maybe not as spontaneous but a good mix.

Thanks
