Remember when the worst thing about MTV was the Steve Perry "Oh, Sherry" video?

Footage of pop provocateur Ke$ha drinking her own urine was set to air Tuesday on her MTV reality show, and that’s not sitting well with the Parent Television Council.
In a letter to supporters Tuesday, the PTC warned against watching Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life and its “disgusting, vile content." It also called on cable providers to allow subscribers the option of choosing which channels they receive.
“Why should we have to pay for this kind of garbage just so we can get access to Discovery, Disney, or the Golf channel? It’s outrageous — and it shouldn’t be that way,” reads the letter.

Ke$ha, whose series premiered in April, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the urine-drinking incident, which she indicated it was a one-time thing.
"I heard it was good for you. That was, like, the rumor," she said. "But I don’t know. I’m also just one that doesn’t shy away from things. I’m not good at saying 'no' so I just figure, f--- it, I’ll try anything once. So I tried it. I wouldn’t recommend it. It was pretty gross. And I don’t think it really did anything very beneficial to me so, yeah, I wouldn’t probably do it again."

"Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" airs Tuesdays on MTV at 11 p.m.

"I heard it was good for you". So is having some dignity.

Brian Eno:

"I only did it once. I was watching the Olympics on television and needed a p**s but I couldn't be bothered to get up. So I urinated into an empty bottle.

"Then I suddenly thought, 'Hmm, I've never tasted my own piss.' So I drank a little.

"It looked just like Orvieto Classico and tasted of nearly nothing."

Anyone with a dollar sign in their name deserves to be ignored.

Interesting to note that someone still watches MTV. But I really don't want to have to choose between Ke$ha and the Parent Televison Council. Both make me queasy.
