It would be nice if Nesmith got some sort of revival these days. A few weeks ago, I finally gathered all the (long out of print) CDs I found throughout the 90s, cherry-picked favorite tracks ... and ended up with about 40 tracks. He really is under-rated and undeservedly unrecognized while folks like Gram Parsons and Gene Clark have been recognized. Because he was a Monkee? I don't know ... he has much in common with NRBQ in terms of not being taken seriously enough.
