The thing that strikes me watching that is how absolutely impeccable Bruce's timing was then, is now, and always has been. He has such an innate sense of how the narrative of a song should flow, of the dynamic of performance and the reading of an audience.
This clip, plus Spirit In The Night and Wild Billy's Circus Story in on the Documentary DVD that came with the BTR box set. Its from an LA show in 1973.
