I'm not usually a fan of this type of thing, but this is really badass. I'm sure I've talked about this track before, but it came to mind again as I am about to finish ?uestlove's fantastic and highly recommended memoir. This is his remix.

Well, sure -- I left Jamerson off my list of brilliant bass players. But I consider "Motown" somewhat separate of a genre from pop/rock.
I don't segregate my music. It's all one.
