Hang In There, Good People

Yesterday marked the second anniversary of Occupy Wall Street. Two years. Not one, like I thought, but two. Yesterday also saw that Italian cruise ship get righted after 20 months on its side. Twenty months. Not six, like I thought, but twenty.

Time flies when you're having fun, right? But does it completely disappear when you're not?

It's been a tough stretch for a lot of people I know. There's no need to go into details. Let's just say that many people I know are not having fun these days and time is not being kind.

This too shall pass. Right?

Hang in there, good people and take 5 to listen to Sandy.

Hello, please remain seated,

Good advice, illustrated by a beautiful song.

To help lighten everyone's mood while we await the moment when "this too shall pass", here's You & I by Ingrid Michaelson:

You gotta be stone cold committed to sourpuss-osity if this doesn't make you smile.

Thanks, Sal. I needed that.

Okay Sal and Rich -- you got me!

I was certainly wallowing in a bit of "stone cold sourpuss-osity" this morning but have decided to turn the corner.

Thanks, Sal...I needed that, too.

But under the circumstances, shouldn't we be consoling you? Seems to me that it takes a real mensch to do what you just did...

Thanks again.
