"Guitars & Women & Other Stuff" : THE WEEKEND MIX

It's a little bit country. It's a little bit rock and roll. It just might be one of my favorite "Weekend Mixes."

I was inspired.

You just can't go wrong when Eddy Arnold's "Cattle Call" is on your mix. I think I've said that exact same thing about "Tapioca Tundra" and "El Paso."

No matter.

It's sounds good altogether.

Enjoy, I hope.

Hello all...no, please remain seated,

Cattle Call!!! Outstanding choice; love it. Any other fans of that song should check out Buddy Miller's gorgeous version from The Majestic Silver Strings album:

His guitar tone on this record is just luscious.

Fab stuff as usual - many thanks. But you could have included Donny & Marie's version of "I'm a little bit country....." and that would have been the icing on the cake! Or is that the cake on the icing?

Fantastic!!! "Notice the Ring" ;) This is almost my favorite mix ever of yours. (If it doesn't include a Beatle it can't be number one). Thanks! I will be singing along with "Cattle Call" and "El Paso" and thinking of my mom. Plus love the photo you used. Just thinking "Johnny Cash" makes everything better, not to mention listening to him. Happy weekend.
