Thank god "Zep-Fest" is over for now.
One of the worst records I ever bought was the Trademark Of Quality release of "Led Zeppelin Live In Seattle 73 Tour". It made "The Song Remains The Same" sound good.
Excellent -- the "usual" songs of the week and the Everly Brothers set.
I'm still trying to figure out why Phil Everly's death hit me like it did. Lots of great songs ... the one Everly Brothers' song I keep coming back to is "It Only Costs A Dime."
Thanks Sal
This looks good - thanks Sal!
It was the son of next door's family 50 years & a lifetime ago who gave me a stack of his unwanted 45s & albums (the Everly Bros, Elvis, Fats Domino, The Avons, et al) who made me what I am today (demented? - ed) so the Everly's selection brings back some good memories. As always, many thanks.
