Calling Out My Name- Del Shannon
She Loves You- The Beatles
Any More Than I Do- The Attack
You're All I Wanna Do- Cheap Trick
Second Choice- Any Trouble
Walk Like A Man- Grand Funk
Think She'd Be Good To Me- C.C. Adcock
I'd completely forgotten about that Grand Funk song, and must confess I was kind of hoping it was a Four Seasons cover. Wouldn't that have been something...
Sal, I didn't think of anyone else to tell but you; I bought tickets to see Bruce in Atlanta in April this morning! I asked my wife of 25 years if she'd be willing to go a couple days ago, and she said okay, so I went for the best available when they went on sale. So we're in The Pit at the Lakewood Amphitheater! I've never seen Bruce(my wife saw him on the BITUSA tour before we met)and I can't wait! This is the first concert we will have attended in 20 years. We saw McCartney, REM, and a trifecta of George Jones, Conway Twitty, and Vince Gill before we got old and quit going to shows. Which leads me to the basic point: ther aren't many artists who would make me drag my tired, old ass to a concert, but I couldn't pass this one up. Who knows how many more tours he'll do? Health issues could occur at any moment. I want to see this American hero at the peak of his power. And thank you for stoking the flames of music appreciation. It doesn't go unnoticed.
Another fine SOTW with two mystery (to me) songs to savour and the current week looks good already with Bowie's "Cracked Actor" on the turntable. Must be a satellite spy cam over my house because I was playing the Ziggy & Aladdin albums over the weekend. Thanks again!

Hey, Sal, I'm getting a "404 Not Found" message when I click on the link. Is it just me?
Thanks, as always, for your efforts.
My bad. Up and running now. Guess you were the only one who tried. (Maybe the Grand Funk tune scared everyone away.)
Got it, thanks.

Thanks for that, Peabody. I'm excited for you. I look forward to the review.
Thanks Sal
Another eclectic mix of tunes to stir the imagination.
