Still in post-holiday, brain mush mode, the best I've got for today is this terrific Danny Kirwan tune from arguably Fleetwood Mac's best record "Then Play On."

If you've got 45 minutes, listen to it, preferably the U.K. version.

Sal....Best wishes for a fabulous 2015. This period Mac is the best as far as I'm concerned too. Looking forward to your enlightening columns guiding us through the dark moments of a cold winter ahead. (It just started snowing right this minute.) So if music be the food of love then Burn On.....or somethin'. Thank you, sir.

Dang, I love that album but somehow had missed this tune amongst the Peter Green songs I love on it. Great call!

Charlie, the deluxe version covers the U.K. version, which had different sequencing and a slightly altered track list. Many agree, the U.K. plays better. You can arrange the order, if you felt like it.
