haven't even listened but loved the title and it made me use my latest hipster acronym GOL guffaw out loud. Sure the mix will be great too.

Looks about perfect.

Looks great -- Thanks Sal.

This morning they played Golden Years on the radio and the DJ said Bowie tried to get Elvis to take the song. Who knows if the story is apocryphal or not -- too good to let the truth get in the way!

Have a great weekend and stay warm!

Alone on Valentine’s Day I’m reminded of Frank Zappa’s thoughts on broken hearts …A challenge of not having a mate is you don’t have someone who gets your jokes and cultural references. (Then again if she got my jokes …!)

All a long, boring way to say I saw a funning thing this morning and have no one to share it with who might get it other than équipe Burning Wood.

I'm sitting in the coffee shop and I guy walks in with the saddest looking bunch of flowers you’ve ever seen. Obviously he just bought them at the corner store and thought he could get away with this “Romantic Gesture.” In my “best” Nick Lowe voice I softly start singing Stoplight Roses —

“If you believe your same old used to be,
will see you through,
you’ll last about as long as stoplight roses do”

The people around looked at me like I was from Planet Claire; the sorry flowers walked out; and I went back to reading my paper.

Happy Valentines Burning Wood!
