Diamond Claw- Wilco
I Live On A Battlefield- Nick Lowe
I Lost Everything- Sam Cooke
Sea And Sand- The Who
Session Man- The Kinks
Ellis Unit One- Steve Earle
Bouncin' Back (Bumpin Me Against The Wall)- Mystikal
All day long for a couple of weeks I'm singing The Kinks' "Victoria" because it's being used in a TV ad for a bathroom/plumbing firm called - wait for it - Victoria Plumb, so it's good to hear a another (rarer) one from them. Plus the Nick Lowe, of course (written with Paul Carrack?). Thanks for upping another fine SOTW.
Sal, loved your talk with yourself about indifference. I'm often accused of "loving" every new experience, no matter how flawed. That's not a bad thing, it's a gift. An old politically incorrect Southern comic named "Brother" Dave Gardner once said "Gratitude is riches and complaint is poverty, and the worst I ever had was wonderful." Think on that, Dear Hearts.
