New Record From Emitt Rhodes!

You must go HERE right now and pre-order record. Watch the three minute video if you need to, go to YouTube if you have to, and listen to everything available by Emitt Rhodes, including the Merry-Go-Round record, which is the greatest thing since Mallomars. If this project does not reach its goal, I am blaming all of you. I want this now.

THE BAND:
Jason Falkner
Roger Joseph Manning Jr.
Jon Brion
Aimee Mann
Susanna Hoffs
Nels Cline
Pat Sansone
Nelson Bragg
Bleu

And the man, Emitt Rhodes.

Exclusive new track.

Thank you.

Just pledged. Thanks for the heads up.
Although my hopes are not too high for the record.
Did you heard those other new tracks that surfaced a couple of years ago with Richard Thompson and the Bangles?
They are on Itunes, but I don't recommend them.

Perhaps that stellar cast will guide him back.

I don't hate those earlier tracks with RT and The Bangles. I think the production suffers a bit, but if Andrew Gold or JD Souther put out those tracks in 1978, they'd be great.

Hey, what I most hope comes out of this is a Jellyfish reunion. If Roger and Jason are working together, they just need to get Andy back on board.

Haven't Jason and Roger been working together for a while now? They opened for Cheap Trick and backed Cheap Trick like ten years ago, and then toured with Beck, no? I thought Andy might be a bit cuckoo.

Well, I signed up, but I have to admit as much as I'm looking forward to the Rhodes album, they also had a new Jayhawks album being recorded here in Portland as I write this. Big Jayhawks fan here, so I'm doubly excited. Great web site.

I have never been a big Emitt Rhodes fan. I feel David Grahame mined the same musical territory too much more success, check him out folks.

Love Emmitt Rhodes' music... this is way cool that he's finally "returned" - soon. I'll be buying it for sure.
