Well now, all we have to do is show this to Robert and we've got a reunion!

I like how she grabs the cymbals with her hand - just like a pro.

Absolutely wonderful!!

I like listening to her more than listening to Robert Plant!
I saw this elsewhere on the web and read there that she didn't even win the competition... finished second or third.

And my answer to your headline is: forced to take accordian lessons. Sadly, I've never found a support group to help deal with the shame...

i was something of a piano prodigy at 8, but I sure didn't enjoy it as much as she does.

At that age? Clarinet. For about 2 months. I hated everything about it.

My parents had one of those Lowrey electric Organs for years that I noodled with after that and they *should* have forced piano lessons on me, but they didn't.)

it wasn't until I turned 16 that I got a guitar...

But, yeah, that drum clip is all kinds of awesome!

When I was 8yrs old I would've been listening to Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep but subconsciously storing Dave and Ansel Collins then convincing myself years later that I always liked them... oh and picking my nose cmon... I was only 8.

Playing lefty air bass guitar to All My Loving, McCartney-style. Fantastic drumming by the way. I wish I could play like a girl.

Listening to “I’m a girl watcher” by The O’Kaysions. And that song still makes me smile.

I was just learning to read music and play whole notes on the trumpet. An instrument I was allowed to play, when I would have rather taken up drums or guitar
Such fun watching her have so much fun. She's got it, and I hope she keeps it up. She has a future in music if she wants.
