Is It My Body- Alice Cooper
I'm a sucker for when the bass drops out of a song and it's just guitar, drums and vocals. It's a really effective move and this track uses it perfectly.

Mississippi Moon- Kings X
Is this what The Beatles would have sounded like if they had stayed together and released a record in 1992?

Thinkin' 'Bout You Baby- Sharon Marie
Written and produced by Brian Wilson and given to no-hit wonder Sharon Marie before tweaking it a bit for The Beach Boys and making it the hit "Darlin'."

So Close- Hall & Oates
The only thing that keeps "Change Of Season," H&O's 1991 release from being my favorite H&O album, is the dated 90's production. But pound for pound, this album might have more amazing songs than any other release, and "So Close" is a personal fave.

East St. Louis Toodle Oo- Greg Osby
Like many, I first heard this Duke Ellington tune on Steely Dan's "Pretzel Logic." I absolutely love Greg Osby's take. Every solo is unique, especially what goes on from 4:08 to 4:45.

I Feel Love- Donna Summer
Disco doesn't suck and neither does Giorgio Moroder's genius production on this tune.

May My Heart Be Cast Into Stone- The Toys
"A Lover's Concerto" was their big hit, but this track is the better record.

I really have no idea how all these tracks came together other than I felt like hearing them and sharing them.

Love the H&O track. You're right, it is a terrific album. Wish they had kept putting out records like that for longer.

"No-hit wonder" ... such a great turn of phrase!
