Blaine's work on "Songs of Our Fathers" by Andy Statman and David Grisman was proof of how amazing he was in the 1990's some 30 years after all the famous tracks he played on.

It's amazing to see how many great songs he played drums on. Just hearing that introduction to the Another Saturday Night shows how he was able to do so much in just a couple of seconds. RIP.

Listening to the soundtrack to the excellent film on the Wrecking Crew. I'm smiling through tears.

The man was a MONSTER of a drummer! Very influencing force for students of “the beat”....Great compiling and big thanks, Sal.
