Aside from premiering a new cut from The John Sally Ride, Sal Maida went deep on his Spin Cycle radio show this past Sunday with another Roy Wood cover, this one from fellow Manchester band, Mail.

Mail.

One single on Parlophone in 1971, a cover of The Move's "Omnibus."

The track rocked and sounded much better than this video when Sal played it because he also previewed a new set coming at the end of the month from Grapefruit Records, "Once Upon A Time In The West Midlands: Bostin' Sounds of Brumrock 1966-1974." The full tracklist is below and from the looks of it, contains what would amount to thousands of dollars in rare UK singles.
