And because Letts got me to listen to Tighten Up Vol. 2 during the holiday season, I noticed "Wreck A Buddy" by The Soul Sisters has a VERY similar melody to "The Little Drummer Boy." But hey, that's music. Go read the Wikipedia entry on the song and you discover the original songwriter Katherine Kennicott Davis based it on a Czech carol, though others disagreed. But the Von Trapp Family singers first brought attention to it and Jack Halloran's arrangement is the one we all know BUT Harry Simeone copied it wholesale but demanded a writing credit and it became a hit so everyone BUT Halloran makes money on it to this day. Another good dump! Unfortunately, we're probably stuck with America o'Clock forever. I don't understand the cult of Elon, but I'm glad I don't have an investment in anything he's involved with. One thing we don't need is another billionaire narcissist troll. Would you have bought anything edible with a "Bowery" label on it 25 years ago?
