Come On Now- The Ramones
I mentioned a few posts back how I was rediscoverting the 80's output of the Ramones. The Graham Gouldman produced "Pleasant Dreams" is much better than I remembered it, with a number of excellent tracks, including this one.

Misfits- The Kinks
I'd argue that if you took the 12 best tracks from The Kinks' Arista records, you have an album as good as "Arthur." This would be on it.

A Foggy Day- Lyn Collins
"The Female Preacher" covering a standard produced by "The Godfather Of Soul." This is a genius arrangement, especially when the chorus kicks into the groove at around 1:20.

Kilburn Towers- Bee Gees
A b-side that should have been an a-side.

One True Vine- Mavis Staples
One of Jeff Tweedy's best lyrics, delivered to perfection from Miss Mavis Staples.

All Strung Out Over You- The Chambers Brothers
One of "The Other 100" albums of mine, this kicks off "The Time Has Come" and doesn't relent for two and a half minutes.

Blue Eyes- The International Submarine Band
If you are a fan of "Safe At Home," may I recommend the just released, all-analog, Kevin Gray MONO cut on Sundazed. It is stunning.

And our last dump of 2022!

Happy New Year everyone!

Be safe. Be kind. Don't forget to watch Guy Lombardo.

My fave is the Marc Rubio.

Do you recall a song that uses the Chambers Brothers opening riff? It sounds too familiar.

Each time at least one of the images in "The Dump" makes me laugh out loud!

As we say goodbye to 2022 / welcome 2023 I have a playlist of your ten albums on shuffle -- reminds me of songs I've put away.

Must say the Horace Andy and Charlie Gabriel remind me I shouldn't be so close minded :-)

Happy New Year one and all!
