Reminds me of a bit of a cross between three songs -
Where The Action Is - Waterboys Real Live Bleeding Fingers - Lucinda Ian McLagan - Drivin' n Cryin'
Sounds fantastic.
And - a bit crazy that Ian has now well outlived both Bowie and Lou. Not to mention Taylor Hawkins, Billy Gibbons, and Jeff Beck who I see as collaborators. Damn.
I remember my grandfather at 84, and he was pretty cool, but growing green beans in his garden wasn't quite as cool as making records with Todd, Ringo and J. Beck.
youtube offered this up to me last night - Hunter Ronson live in 1989, with new songs. murky video but good audio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGajuYE72yw

I'll be in 60 in June and I'll never be as cool as Ian Hunter at 84 (or any age).
Bed of Roses is a really good song. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this when it's released. Interesting group of guest musicians.
That was great. I hope all the guest stars don't overwhelm the album.

Very promising, indeed! Here's to a good record, Ian!

Damn.
Billy Gibbons is alive.
Oh right !! And may he live on and on. Rest in peace, Dusty.
That was really great! Thanks for sharing! Straight up rock and roll!!
That's great, I'm looking forward to the album, despite Johnny Depp being on it.
With an 82 yr old drummer who is absolutely killing it. this sounded great (played loud)
Ordered mine last week. Can’t wait.
Wonderful! Excited to hear the whole album.

This made my day! Ian never disappoints…even at 84. At 60 myself so I’m sticking with age is just a number.
Wow! So cool. Looking forward to it.

Old guys rock...and rule.
That was purty dang catchy. Nice nod, in the lyrics, to the drummer, with the line about the Silver 'Bugs' and (Tony) Sheridan.

Good lawd! Hard to believe I saw him, and Mott, live back in 1974. And, in 2023, he's releasing new material.

Thanks for the preview. I'm with the others in avidly awaiting Hunter's new one. The old bugger's not ready for the knacker's yard just yet. Cheers!
Thanks. I feel so much better.
Wow! I've got a grin going ear to ear. What a great number. Rock on!
I'm tempted to say God Bless, Ian! Love the new song.
